Makeup Looks for Summer…

We have passed beginning missed Spring and have gone straight into Summer..
I aint complaining though.. I am loving this warm weather and can’t wait to wear shorts and cute Tee’s again!

Another reason to love summer is that us girls can have a little fun with our make up too!  If you’re anything like me, then a light coat of makeup is your everyday routine. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t love trying out new makeup looks.

In the past year I have accumulated make up to last a girl a lifetime. I often have to stop myself from buying another lipstick or palette of gorgeous eye-shadow colors because I already have like 100 which I still need to take out of the packaging… (I know, I have a problem..)

So now that the sun is out, I thought I would up my make-up game and be a little bit more adventurous with my looks and have found a few looks that we could all try!

For those of you who are feeling extra adventurous in the cosmetics department, you’ll love these makeup looks I’ve specially put together. Not only will these looks take your makeup game from amateur to eye-catching, but they are also super easy to do!

Here is a step-by-step guide that details 3 makeup looks I’m loving for summer:

1. Poolside

Poolside makeup can be tricky, but there’s no reason to not feel glamorous while lounging around! Gotta look good for them selfies!

Step 1: I always make sure my manicure/pedicure situation is in check before heading to the poolside.
Step 2: Generously apply some tinted moisturizer SPF 15 or 20 to your face and neck for a combination of light coverage and protection from the sun.
Step 3: Apply a light coat of Waterproof Mascara to your eyelashes. The goal is to apply just enough to make your eyelashes appear darker, but not clumpy. If you’re feeling extra bold, add a thin line of colored eyeliner to your lower lash line.
Step 4: Lastly, lightly apply Color Stay Lip Balm Stain to get color without the hassle of reapplying or smudging. The Avon Lip Lacquer will do the trick!

2. After Hours

Evening looks are all about the eyes, which is the main focus of this next look.

Step 1: Swiitch Beauty has some stunning eye-shadows that are perfect for summer nights!  The #SlaysforDays palette is one of my favorite ones to use.
Step 2: Liquid Eyeliner works best for me because it lasts longer, draw a semi-thick line along your top lash line. Then, bolden your lashes by finishing with some Brinea 3D Mascara– (find out here)
Step 3: I’m not one to contour on a daily basis, but I’ll sometimes use MAC bronzing powder — under my cheek bones (I make them magically appear), on the sides of my nose, and around my face.
Step 4: Finish off with Lip Gloss for a bold look or a natural Lip colour

3. Red and Blue

I have been itching to try this look for so long but just haven’t had the courage or the outfit to try it!

Step 1: Lightly dust your eyelid with Urban Decay’s Naked  Eye Shadow- Nooner shade. With a fine brush, underline your lower lash line with Bobby Brown Dark Blue Eyeliner, then finish with a dab of Urban Decay’s Eye Shadow Strange in the inner corner of your eyes.
Step 2: Generously apply Mascara to your lashes and outline with black Eyeliner.
Step 3: Accent your cheeks with some blush, then apply highlighter where needed.
Step 4: Finish off with a bold lip — MAC Ruby Red Lipstick is just gorgeous and lasts!

Can’t wait to try these looks out! Hope you love them as much as I do!
